Report: Unveiling Ceremony of “The Spirit of the Constitutional Law”
The book unveiling ceremony of the new masterpiece titled “The Spirit of the Constitutional Law” was held in California on February 24 and 25, 2024. This grand two-day event marked a significant milestone in cultural and political discourse.
The first day of the event, held in Beverly Hills, commenced with a speech by the founder and director of Ketab Corp. Having first published “Rafiq Ayatollah” eight years ago with great success, the director announced the release of a new edition of that acclaimed work alongside the current unveiling.
During the ceremony, the deputy attorney general of the Iranian National Congress broadcasted a message from Canada. It was noted that the very first volume of “The Spirit of the Constitutional Law” was purchased for ten thousand and one dollars. Furthermore, several members of the National Iranian Congress from London, Canada, Iran, and England delivered speeches, contributing to the international scope of the gathering.
A special moment of the first day was dedicated to honoring long-standing efforts for the liberation of Iran. The National Iranian Congress presented an appreciation plaque to Dr. Manouchehr Ganji, recognizing more than four decades of dedicated struggle and service.
The second day of the ceremony, hosted at the University of Irvine, was devoted to an in-depth review of the key chapters of “The Spirit of the Constitutional Law.” The author clarified the core concepts of the book, linking historical slogans of freedom and equality from the revolutions of England, America, and France to the contemporary movements in Iran. It was emphasized that the current generation is driving a glorious revolution centered on fundamental rights.
A particularly significant discussion focused on the fifth chapter of the book. Drawing from historical insights, the author referenced Montesquieu’s “The Spirit of Law” from 275 years ago, discussing the historical impact of certain ideologies on Iran’s global standing and its path toward regaining past glory.
Despite the grand success of the two-day event, the report noted that various efforts had been made to disrupt the proceedings. Specific political groups and individuals attempted to distract or threaten guests and speakers, yet the ceremony proceeded as planned, achieving its goals with dignity and high attendance.
